SO CLOSE

Hello family and friends!

I'm ready.  Well, at least my heart is ready...my stuff on the other hand is almost ready.  That's good since there are only twenty two short hours until take off.  Is this real?  Is this actually happening?  I have been eagerly awaiting these moments for years.

I can't wait to step off the plane and begin this great, wonderful, crazy, heartbreaking, lovely, perfect adventure God has brought me and the team into.  Whether is is my first time (along with several others), or someone's second or third time...one thing is true of us all; we yearn to be there!

Here's the team I'm going with.  Some amazing people right there.  I can't wait to grow together, work alongside each other, loving on people and glorifying our God together in Uganda over these next few weeks.

I look forward to building lasting relationships and seeing the amazing works of God in the lives of so many Ugandans.  Sharing this journey with you all means the world.  Thank you for all your prayers, support and love as we have been preparing to leave.
